about
100 Robots started when Max and I realised that we were having so much fun playing Rock Band that we should be in a band again. Despite having jobs and families, we put posters up all over the Laines and dragged suitcases full of gear through snowstorms to play at the Chaos Theory festival in London hoping that we would get a couple of good photos or recordings that we could use to promote the next gig. It was a huge amount of work and we often played to an empty room, but it didn't matter. Every sprinkle of applause was gold dust in a muddy river. Every "Thank You" was a star in a cloudy sky. Every gig was an adventure. It was us against the world and nothing could stop us.
Then it started feeling like it was just me against the world.
